In this video you'll see the first time Colin verbally interacted with the staff since he arrived with them, prompted by our Sentimental Seaside Puzzle. Their wonderful activities co-ordinator told us afterwards that he'd told her 'That was brilliant' :) You can see, despite it not being easy for him, he believes that he can do it and he's motivated to work towards completing the puzzle. It gives us such joy to see such special moments that have been created by our products.
Their Activities Co-Ordinator was kind enough to send us this message later that day:
'It was so amazing to meet you both today what you are doing are amazing. You made our afternoon special the residents were still interacting with the staff with them. I’m still shocked at Colin’s response and Doreen was so happy and excited 🥰 '
Every moment makes it all worthwhile.
