Decorative Metal Thimble

Available to buy individually or select as part of a Custom Curiosity Box.

A small metal thimble with an ornate patterned surface. This familiar sewing-related object can be held, turned and explored by touch, and may prompt recognition, conversation or memories of sewing and needlework. It can also be slipped onto a fingertip and gently tapped against different surfaces to create a variety of small sounds. Please note that it is a decorative item rather than a functional sewing thimble.

Size: approximately 1.7 × 2.3 cm
