Chinese-Style Brocade Purse

A small purse made from richly patterned Chinese-style brocade fabric. It can be held and explored for its colour, woven pattern and texture, while opening the purse and placing small items inside offers a familiar and practical action. Various colours are available, with one selected at random.

Size: approximately 8 × 7 cm

Each item has been chosen with later-stage dementia particularly in mind, for qualities that may make it discoverable and invite interest, such as its texture, colour, familiarity, movement or sound. Everyone is different, so please consider the individual’s interests, abilities, preferences and circumstances when deciding whether an item is suitable, including whether support or supervision may be appropriate.
